Up Next: Japan 2026!

Argentina is headed to Japan for the 2026 Women’s Lacrosse World Championship! After an impressive performance at the Pan-American Championship in June 2025, where Argentina secured 5th place, they’ve earned their spot among the world’s elite and will compete on the biggest stage in lacrosse. 

For the first time in international lacrosse history, the championship will feature two divisions, with Division I showcasing the top 16 teams in the world, Argentina being one of them! After finishing 26th at the 2022 World Championship in Towson, USA, Argentina has made incredible progress over the past three years to reach this point. 

The upcoming World Championship will take place in Tokyo from July 24th to August 2nd, 2026. Argentina will announce their team roster in February. Stay tuned for updates!
